The stop at north charleston is part of a nine-month and 25 state tour building towards a mass poor people's assembly immoral march on washington this summer.

The march will visit the fresh future farm which is located at chicora cherokee neighborhood which is one of 11 food deserts at north charleston.

According to campaign leaders at south carolina, nearly 675,000 people participate in the supplemental nutrition assistance program otherwise known as snap .

44 percent of people at south carolina are poor or low income.

The march calls on washington and voters for the implementation of a moral agenda which means more civic engagement and voting that focuses on poor and low wealth people.
