But for the kids at earhart, something else wore the hat.
It wasn't a hog, or a frog on a log.
They were visited by a big white dog.
Teddy the therapy dog visited with students at earhart elementary school to celebrate dr. seuss day.
Dr. seuss's birthday is also known as read across america day.
Teddy and his owner bob feuer read two books to the students.
The two volunteer with read to succeed through the united way.
Feuersays the kids love reading with teddy.
The kids will open up to teddy when we read one on one.
They will open up to him and i can get a lot accomplished and get them reading.
Every year the interest grows, it's really a good program.
