Another business effected, are bowling alleys.

But one sin stewartville.

Is doing its part to feed semi truck drivers passing through.

Kimt news madelyne watkins sat down with the owner to see why they're doing this.

She joins us live this morning.

Madelyne./// brooke and tyler.

I'm at strikers corner in stewartville where semi truck drivers can stop and grab a meal to go as they're passing thorugh southeast minnesota.

"we try to stay professional, polite and positive.

At the end of the day, let's just try to become better together."

Even though the bowling alley is currently shut down, workers are still trying to provide their services as best as they can to the community.

Owner, matthew johnson, tells me he feels helping out the trucking industry is crucial so that our supplies don't stop.

He says it's important to "it's a great help to help people in need that are basically had their calling to go to work á i don't wanna say forced to go to work, but honestly that's what it is.

And for us to do our part to try to keep them fed á they're all more than welcome here."

If you would like to order food, you can call strikers ahead of time and they'll have it ready for you when you arrive.

As of now, they'll be doing this curb side food option until march 29th.

Live in stewartville.
