I'm in the parking lot a franciscan health on theast side of lafayette.

Where they are building two new structures in response to covid-19.

The large wooden structure you see behind me is a 20 by 40 foot triage unit that will screen and test patients.

It will hold about 40 people at a time.

This building is being built in the event that covid-19 cases increase heavily in the area.

Next to this building is a canopy style unit that'll be utilize for drive thru testing.

Patients who have a physician order to get tested will be allowed to drive up and get tested.

Patients will stay in the car while getting tested.
