Ema director torrey williams says the patient was an african american man in his 60s, and had underlying health issues.

Today, williams held a briefing urging residents to take the disease more seriously.

Quentin, williams says people are taking the coronavirus lightly??

Thanks right aundrea he says people have let their guard down... i'm at the basketball court here at zuber park and as you can see, they've taken the rims off the goals, that's because people have been out here trying to play basketball...despit e the shelter in place order that's in effect.

Along with the shelter in place order...williams says city and county leaders have implemented multiple measures such as curfews, and closing all non-essential businesses... despite those efforts, williams says he's still seeing people out casually and in big groups.
