Man Gets $8.2 Million Receipt After Withdrawing $1700 Stimulus Money Charles Calvin of Indiana received a notification that $1,700 had been deposited in his bank account as part of the federal stimulus package.
The 45-year-old volunteer firefighter went to a local ATM machine to withdraw the money.
His withdrawal receipt showed a lot more money in his account than he expected.
The receipt said his account balance was $8.2 million.
Calvin reached out to an employee where the machine was located and to a friend who is a local police officer to see what happened.
When Calvin got in contact with a bank representative, he found that his actual balance was $13.69.
