To heart surgery patients....accident victims.....and others who might have long hospital stays.....coronavirus patients might also need rehabilitation before they can return home.

One local nursing home is helping local hospitals and patients, by providing this treatment for covid - 19 patients.

Newschannel 2's joleen ferris reports.

None covid 19 patients are exempt from the help the hope and the healing, here at sitrin healthcare, in new hartford.

Just like anyone else, after a lengthy hospital stay, they might require extra care bvefore they're ready to go home.

Sitrin is giving them that care.

(((carts((( currenlty, one patient diagnosed with the coronavirus is receiving care in sitrin's inpatient medical rehab unit 7:41 "we've been ready for this since day one.
