Some things within the parks remain of limits.

These swings here at east park are still blocked off with caution tape and it looks like they are going to stay that way.

Mayor bill schickel mentioned the continued closures in yesterday's press conference.

The city will keep prohibiting the use of playgrounds and campgrounds.

Groups of ten people or more are still not allowed either.

The closures fall in line with governor reynolds' proclamation that they stay closed until may 15th.

Earlier i spoke with city administrator aaron burnett about the closures and he thinks keeping residents of the river city safe is the hopefully we're able to open these facilities and get them back to normal function but you don't want to rush into that and have a misstep that puts people's lives in danger.

Burnett also said the city's highland park golf course is staying open?

And they've been dilligent about making sure common areas are cleaned frequently.
