Itawamba High Cheerleaders handed out snow cones to healthcare workers.

The events were sponsored by contracting company FL Crane & Sons, and the snow cones were from Snowie Shaved Ice.

A local cheerleading squad teamed with a local business to give back to front- line workers dealing with coronavirus on a daily basis... wtva's bronson woodruff was in tupelo when hospital personnel were thanked in a rather cool way... std."

Nat pop (snow cone ice-grinder machine) snow cones are a great way to brighten someone's day, but for itawamba high cheerleader laura johnson, they are a way of telling healthcare workers thank you.

Johnson's cheer squad gave out free snow cones from snowie shaved ice to all healthcare workers at the north mississippi medical center.

Johnson got to meet up with her squad in person for the first time since spring break, and loved the opportunity to give back to front-line workers.

Contracting company f-l crane and sons sponsored the giveaway.

Nursing director kristen long said she loves the idea, and thinks the giveaway is making an impact.
