State are getting ready to open their doors next week.

Starting next friday, they'll be allowed to host in- person dining again at 33-percent capacity.

There's a lot to figure out about the safest ways to do that.

Abc 36's bobbi mcswine visited bella notte in lexington which tells her it plans to re-open even slower than the state recommends.

Sot most restaurant owners might say 33 percent capacity is fairly small, but bella nottes general manager says its aiming for even lower than that.

Sot we wanna make sure everybody continues to keep their distance.

General manager kyle knight says the restaurant will open at 25-percent capacity may 23rd.the day after the state is allowing restaurants to open up.

For bella notte, that'll mean about ten people in at a time dine-in hours will be limited...3 to 5:30 p-m...and, at first, they'll only be for those most at risk...people 60 and older.

We wanna give them that opportunity to come in and enjoy dinner because they havent had a chance to get out of the house as much.

Two weeks later...knight says other guests will be able to start dining in.

It'll work a lot like pick up is now...reservation only.

Diners will get a text when they can come in.

Its been such a change of pace, and now were changing again, and so were going to figure that out as we go and adapt.

Server nick hayden says he's excited.

Thank you for calling bella nottes, this is nick, how may i help you?

Hayden says although his hours were reduced, he feels lucky just to have a job...especially because he knows others who dont.

As soon as you walk in, you can grab the bag with your name on it.

Coronavirus has forced some businesses to shutdown permanently.

Luke knight says he knows he has the community to thank for keeping the restaurant open.

I know theyve supported us and i know theyve supported a lot of restaurants and businesses that have been able to stay open, so we really appreciate it because without that we wouldnt still be here.

He hopes just like the governor's phased approach with the state... the restaurant's phased re-opening will keep people safe...while letting them go back to enjoying their favorites fresh from the kitchen.
