Dead body of leopard found in AP's Ananthapuramu

The dead body of a leopard was found at Kambadur village in Ananthapuramu district of Andhra Pradesh.

Local people informed the forest department officials, who in turn recovered the body of leopard.

According to the Ananthapuramu's District Forest Officer, Jagannath Singh, told ANI that the animal died 2 or 3 days ago.

Body has been sent for post mortem and cause of death will be known after PM report only.

However, the officer also confirmed that, it is not the case of murder or poacher's handiwork.

It is a natural death, cause of which is yet to be ascertained, he said.
