Investigate a shooting that took place on the 900 block of elizabeth street.

The call came in just before 530 tonight.
Police tell newschannel 2 when they arrived they found a man shot in the torso area.
He was transported to st.
Elizabeth medical center for treatment.
He is in serious condition but we are told his injuries are not life threatening... this is all still under investigation tonight.
