As protests continue throughout america this week the tri-state has demonstrated that our communities can spread messages without violence.

The tri-state has been nothing but peaceful so far.

Officers in madisonville coming together with protestors..

To pray for a better america.

Wee been really fortunate to have the leaders we do.

And i really wish that everywhere across the nation would actually be able to demonstrate like they do in madisonville/hopkins county.

Because it been phenomenal?

Protests from both sides of the ohio river..

Echoing the same messages from people of all walks of life.

Peace and reconciliation during a time of crisis.

We cannot get anywhere and have the ear of people that can make change if there's constant fighting.

We have to find a way to sit down at the table of brotherhood, and come up with common sense resolutions.

Rioting..

Violence..

And looting has not been an issue..

And local law enforcement is commending everyone for getting their message out the proper way.

We are completely in support of everybody first amendment right to free speech.

We love it that the faith community is taking a stand on this and really helping out everybody in the community?

While things have been peaceful so far..

The evansville police department has received inquiries about potential businesses and locations that may be targeted.

E-p-d says they are monitoring any and all threats..

And if you see something..

Say something.
