Terre Haute Children's Museum announces modified summer programs

Some summer some summer programs will look a little different this year.

That includes those through the terre haute children's museum.

The museum has announced its events for the summer.

Normally, there's a handful of programs at the facility.

But-- there have been changes to help keep your family safe, while still having fun.

We love having the kids in the building.

And that one-one-one interaction, it's core to our mission and who we are, but we're also very sensitive to the global pandemic.

This year the museum is hosting "museum in the park."

Sessions throughout the summer will feature different science topics.

They'll happen at vigo county parks.

Children will learn about "motion" at the first sessions.

They are happening on june 22nd and 23rd.

These are two limited each day.

The second program is everyday science club.

You can explore the science happening in your own home.

This is a virtual two-day event.

It's happening june 25th, and 26th.
