Special flight carrying Indian passengers from Kuwait arrived at Indore airport on July 04. Proper arrangements were done at the airport keeping COVID spread in mind. Due to coronavirus pandemic, several people have been stranded abroad.
While speaking to media in the national capital on June 29, the Health Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr Narottam Mishra spoke on current situation of COVID-19 in the state. He said, "There are over 2500 active cases in the state now but we have 25,000 beds. There was an outbreak of COVID-19 cases in Indore, Mumbai and Delhi at the same time, but if we compare now, we have been able to contain the situation in Indore."
The Health and Family Welfare Minister of Madhya Pradesh Dr Narottam Mishra inspected Aurobindo Hospital's COVID care centre. He visited the hospital in Indore amid coronavirus pandemic on June 25. Dr Narottam Mishra reviewed the health and security situation at the COVID care centre. There are over 2000 active cases of COVID-19 in Madhya Pradesh.

A Kuwait Airways special flight carrying around 45 Indian passengers from Kuwait landed at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport in Indore on June 9. The passengers were examined by the State Health Department after which they were sent for 14 days to the quarantine centre. Apart from a few travelers from Indore, the rest were from different districts in which most belonged to labour class.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Ram Vilas Paswan at the latter's residence in Delhi on July 05. Ramvilas Paswan's son Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) president Chirag Paswan was also present. "Today is the birthday of Ram Vilas Paswan. I come here to congratulate him. Aerial spraying of pesticide was conducted by a helicopter in Jodhpur's Kerlanada on July 04. It was done as a part of locust control operation. Swarms of locusts have taken over the skies several states including Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The desert locusts are a species of locust, short-horned grasshopper. They are known to devour crops in their path, posing an unprecedented threat to food supply and livelihoods.
While speaking to ANI in Bhopal on July 03, former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, Kamal Nath, spoke on Jyotiraditya Scindia's "tiger abhi zinda hai" remark following cabinet expansion in the state. He said, "Who is alive or who is not and who is tiger, elephant or horse, these things will be clear. 'Words of war' (muh chalaana) won't work." "Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is not an elected government. They are a government of deals (sauda). Will people going to accept them?" the former MP CM asked.
