Glenn County has seen a spike in coronavirus cases, landing it on the list of 19 being forced to shutdown indoor activities.

Alan, the governor's order requires restaurants, family entertainment centers, movie theaters and more - to stop indoor operations.

Let's take a look at the rapid rise in glenn county cases over the past few weeks.

Glenn county now has 115 cases with 3 new cases today.

To put that in perspective, one month ago, on june first, glenn county had just 17 cases.

One week later on june 8th it had only grown by two.

But by june 22nd it was accelerating.

The total was 65.

And tonight, it's at 115.

And tonight people in glenn county are reacting to news that they must roll-back the reopening.

She says she isn't surprised this is happening again.

According to the glenn county press release, restaurants and other businesses in 19 counties must stop all indoor operations which includes no indoor dining for 3 weeks.

"just keeping up with to-gos and everybody seems to still be pretty happy, everyone is still pretty grateful that we are still open," requiring that restaurants once again have outdoor seating only, takeout, and delivery.

"it's quiet in here, it's weird," hostess laramie burks glenn county found itself on the governor's list of 19 because it was unable to meet three of the six metrics: including new case rate, test positivity rate, and number of daily test over a 14 day period.

Glenn county health officials say along with restaurant other indoor operations such as arcades, bowling, movie theaters must be discontinued or closed.
