COVID brings couple closer together
COVID wedding
Of many weddings over the past few months.
Leaving many potential newly weds in limbo.
One local couple though has decided that enough was enough.
Ron klopfanstein and his partner jim hale decided the time was finally right for them to get married.
Which they did this evening at their home in westmoreland.
Of course they still followed social distancing guidelines.
The guest list was limited to 50 people and everyone wore masks.
They say the coronavirus has really put things into perspective for them and that what's really important is family and being together.
"a pandemic makes you think about what's important.
We thought about our 20 years together, and this is our time to do this.
People often only see this as a reason to stay in place and not do things.
We're trying to say it's ok, with restrictions, you can do positive things" the couple made sure to live stream their nuptuals for family and friends who could not make it to the ceremony.
