This is a copy of that letter which the tehama county board of supervisors is looking to get approved to send to the governor.

The letter asks that the governor allow the county public health officer to make a decision on what restrictions to impose if it came down to that.

The letter citing how it would be "unjust to close restaurants& without evidence they are a significant factor in the spike in cases."

And pointing to low and stable hospitalization rates.
