Florida 'Church' Busted For Selling Bleach As 'Cure' For COVID-19

A Florida father and his three sons have been charged with conspiracy to defraud the US and distributing mislabeled drugs.

According to Gizmodo, Mark Grenon, and his sons, Jonathan, Jordon, and Joseph, billed bleach as a cure for the novel coronavirus COVID-19.

Operating under the name Genesis II Church of Health and Healing, they allegedly billed their bleach product “Miracle Mineral Solution.” A suit filed in the Southern District of Florida on Wednesday says MMS was advertised as a way to 'treat, prevent, and cure' the virus when ingested.

The group’s own website blatantly advertises itself as a 'non-religious church.'

Grenon has repeatedly stated publically that he founded Genesis to avoid legal consequences for selling MMS, and that it 'has nothing to do with religion.'

The feds allege that since the pandemic began, Genesis has sold tens of thousands of bottles nationwide with profits of more than $120,000 per month.
