A lot of people coming out to this rally being called 'back the blue' that took place outside city hall.

Many of them dressed in blue, holding up signs, flags.

There was even a flag that people could sign which i'm told will go to redding police department for them to display.
People i spoke to tell me the rally is meant to thank not only law enforcment, but also first responders who put their life on the line everyday.

After gathering for a bit outside city hall, demonstrators took to the streets, linining cypress avenue to continue showing their appreciation.
