More than 900 minnesota bars and restaurants have been checked to see if they are obeying the governor's detailed executive order to safely reopen.

Investigators with the minnesota department of public safety alcohol and gambling enforcement division ?

"* 4 businesses are getting a slap on the wrist for dropping the ball.

Investigators did a two week sweep of businesses in the state from july 4 to july 13.

They were looking specifically for employees violating mask requirements ?

"* not spacing ot tables ?

"* and serving more thn half capacity.

During the two weeks ?

"* the alcohol and gambling enforcement division sent 10 warning letters to bars and restaurants violating all three of those requirements.

It sent out another 4 letters on june 26.

Here's the list of businesses who were found not following the order.

The alcohol and gambling enforcement division director hopes that customers will do their part to help businesses stay compliant.

What we would really like to do is kind of implore the customers and the bar patrons to help this industry continue to move ahead.

We ask that you don't show up in large groups, we ask that you don't cluster those tables together, or move the chairs the majority of violations involved employees not wearing masks.
