A massive blast occurred near Oil India Limited's Baghjan well in Assam's Tinsukia.
The explosion left three foreign experts injured.
The experts were involved in dousing of well fire raging for over a month.
They were rushed to a hospital at Dibrugarh.
They have been identified as Anthony Steven Reynolds, Doug Dallas and Craig Neil Duncan.
Dousing operation has been called off at Baghjan after the blast.
Cause of the blast, its scale and nature are being ascertained.
