Tonight would be a beautiful night for high school football..and in just a few weeks..

Players will be heading back to the field after a long break.many... without their parents in the stands due to school districts new re-opening plans.fox 55's chris mullooly is live in fort wayne and spoke with coaches and parents.chris... what did they have to say??hunter... they say its not an easy decision to make and one they're happy they wont have too.they're happy football will be played... but depending on what school district they are in...some will be able to see their kid play in person... others... will have to wait.

3 "just to put pads on and watch him play is great "?nats?the start of football season is only a few weeks away.while high schoolers are getting used to their new normal on and off the field....parents like malissa and brad crawford are having to deal with new rules for their sons games."i think unhappy is an understatement most parents in the area we know they want a common sense approach"wylan crawford is a junior for leo's high school team.he'll be able to have one of his parents watch at the stadium...the east allen county school district making the decision this week to limit the amount of fans at games."just not being able to be with friends and see one another you add sports and it adds another level of specialness "east allen school district is one of the few allowing fans at the beginning.districts across allen county and fort wayne announcing for the first few weeks at least...bleachers will be empty."very least we knew things would be restricted"bishop dwenger coach jason garett says he saw a decision like this coming and feels for his seniors."we think about football guys but students in the stands back in hs looking in the stands seeing and hearing your friends"some parents say the decision doesn't make sense.

Shane harris has a son who plays for concorida and says the s-a-cs ruling doesnt make sense"ihsaa put out their guideilnes of 250 per bleacher section and same with governor i see zero and i dont know its a bit harsh"but at the end of the day is happy his son can get back on the field."its disappointed but the main thing they're happy they're playing" reporting live ... ?????????
