Earlier this week we told you about missouri western students preparing for their fall semester, now we're hearing from students up at northwest in maryville.
We talked to them earlier today to see how they're getting ready for a school year like no other.

Later this week, students will start classes on northwest's campus marking the first full semester held during the ongoing covid-19 pandemic.
Its kinda chaotic not gonna lie, the transition to college life can bring challenges for incoming freshmen in normal times, adding on the layer of a global pandemic they say only makes things that much more uncertain.
Things are always changing but i am a freshman so i don't have anything to compare it to obviously.the uncertainty isn't a challenge for freshmen alone returning students on campus are also unsure of what the year will bring we don't know when they'll tell us we have to go home again.
So how are the college kids adjusting?
Well right now they seem to be focused on keeping things as normal as possible.
Sot students say now more than ever they want to focus on getting to know each other and building friendships early, that way should they have to leave each other again they won't be so alone.
