Based on the numbers -- it's already providing to be hard if not impossible for the st.

Joseph school district.the first day of class is monday -- and districtwide --nearly 100 students and staff are at home because of covid-19 infections or potential exposure.the district's response plan requires anyone directly exposed to the virus to stay home for at least 14 days.to date -- there are seven students and 10 employees with covid.and another 23 staff and 55 students quarantined because of potential exposures.

Here's what the school superintendent said earlier this week about in- person learning.van zyl: it's not just a worry for our students and schools.

I have to have enough staff to teach the classes in person so i would be lying if i said it's not a worry.students will return to class monday with face coverings and social distancing guidelines enforced in all of the schools.and to help keep you informed about covid's impact -- school officials will be posting weekly updates on new cases among students and staff to its website.but -- the reports will not include the names of the affected schools.reporting -- madeline mcclain kq2 news.
