Investigators tell us the single-engine plane crashed in this wooded area about 3-miles north of the "lawrenceville-vincennes airport" in illinois.

The plane went down early this morning... but first responders were not able to find the plane until 8am due to fog.

No one else was on the plane.

Several agencies are investigating including the federal aviation administration.

An official cause of the crash has yet to be released.

Judge jo-hannings-myer served on knox county superior court 2.

I spoke with knox county commissioner tim ellerman this afternoon.

Commissioner kellie streeter says this is a devastating and tragic loss.
