"it hits hard" for the people who live her the waters nat its just part of it just go with the flow tha's why many homes here in delcambre are lifted the houses that are still at ground level that were never lifted in those homes yo'll see that they have watermarks up to 2 to 3 foot lift up the side of the housesome stayed during the storms even though the water has gotten up to 8 feet and taller no place to go we have no family so we just got to pray and believe that god will help usbut others came back to their and found the only way to get there was by boat.

Saul touchettei did't lose this one but we lost two alreadyso to get to his home his family packed up their vacualbe and food on their boat to get to their front door.just thankful the're okay and their house is still there blow after blow the touchette family faces the uncertainly from the high waters nat but why do they stay?
