A number of children in West Pasaman, Indonesia were seen cleaning up debris stuck on a suspension bridge over the Batang Bayang River on September 5.

According to local media, the bridge was badly damaged due to heavy flowing river water caused by rain that flushed the area on the evening of September 4.

One of the residents said: "Due to the damage to the suspension bridge, some residents had to climb the damaged bridge in order to carry out work activities." The bridge is the areas only access to the village of Jorong from the village of Ujung Gading.
