I can't even keep track anymore.

Thanks to hurricane delta, the vast majority of high school games shifted to tonight, including our game of the week.

Shannon hosting itawamba.

Senior night at shannon, here are the senior cheerleaders, juiced up and ready to rock.

==== both teams traded punts to start the game, on shannon's second possession, oooo that's a bit high and picked off by zion ashby.

Shannon held however, score remained 0-0.

===== next shannon possession, check out this run by sentwali white, sticks the hand in the ground, keeps his feet and drives forward for a first down.

I dare you to find a better ten yard run than that.

White was recently named to the north mississippi all- star team.

===== later on the drive, the turnover bug bites the red raiders again, this time it's issac smith nabbing the interception for the indians, takes off down the sideline, pushed out of bounds in shannon territory.

====== this time the indians take advantage of the shannon turnover, tae chandler takes the hand-off, gets the edge and he's off to the races, shannon tries to push him out but he makes a dive for the pylon, touchdown itawamba.

In standard fashion for shannon, this game went right down to the wire.

Itawamba got a strip sack with a minute left to secure the victory.

They move to 2-0 in district with a 12 to 6 win.

That is but a taste of the full friday night fever.

We will have complete week 6 coverage tomorrow night at 10 o'clock at our usual time because what better way to end your week than with a little high school football action.
