Welcome good evening good evening and welcome to in the zone... i was a happy camper......the weather tonight felt more like the first couple weeks of the season, not october weather....keep it warm as long as possible.

Speaking of warm...we had some hot action on the gridiron.

South vermillion and northview were both playing for first place in their conferences.

Terre haute north and terre haute south were looking for road wins and could north knox follow up their big win last week at linton with another road win this week at north daviess.

We'll start with the only game in the area that featured two ranked teams collding... we had a 2a showdown as 8th ranked south vermillion hosted number 15 seeger.... these two are the only teams with unbeaten wrc records..... so first place in the conference was on the line in clinton where it was homecoming.... wildcats had an impressive drive to start the second half....anthony garzolini hooks up with peyton hawkins into seeger territory... south vee would go 86 yards on the drive....the final 11 come from the feet of garzolini...i think people forget how athletic this kid is.... he uses his tall frame to stretch and get in for the score....good guys up 18-7.... khai stephen answers for seeger from four yards out.....that's his second score of the game... patriots go for two....owen snedeker finds jameson spague for the two-point conversion and we have a ballgame....south vee up just 18-15... same score in the fourth....wildcats facing third and 8 at the seeger 35..... south vee gets the first down and more...garzolini gets the ball to hawkins who makes a couple of nice moves to pick up 25 yards.... anthonio nieves caps the drive with the sick spin move to juke the defender on his way into the endzone.... that ices the game for south vermillion... wildcats win a big game 25-15....south vermillion moves to six and ohh in the wrc and takes
