Gregory honored 2020 air force rotc distinguished alu ... retired air force general jack gregory, received the distinguished alumnus award for his accomplishments in service.

A virtual ceremony took place thursday... from the buell armory on u-k's campus -- where military leaders honored gregory..

Sharing their appreciation for the somerset native.

Nats: "though his 35 year recor is phenomenal it is his leadership abilities and his duty to serve that is what the cadets are striving to achieve."

Thanking the r-o-t-c 2-90 detachment for the honor..

As well as his wife of 67 years, for standing by his side during countless deployments.

History was made this past election..
