In five days the indiana state men's and women's basketball teams will tip-off their 2020-21 seasons.

Today the missouri valley conference made an announcement regarding conference schedules.

The mvc announced that conference games would be played back-to-back at one site.

The mvc presidents council made this decision to cut down on travel during the pandemic.

Each school will have four home game series and four away game series meaning, indiana state will play the same team back-to-back days in order to cut down on travel exposure while still getting in a full conference schedule.

The new mvc schedule is set to be released for both men's and women's teams in december.

Isu men's head coach greg lansing belives this is the best option to get in as many games safely as possible.

And that's the way.

You go to one location, whether it's a friday saturday, saturday sunday, sunday monday, and you play that team twice.
