John's the evangalist episcopal church in chico they told me they plan to go back to virtual services.

Sherry wallmark/ parishioner: the most difficult part is during these times of need, not being able to gather together.

After being back at church for a month and a half shelly wallmark now has to go back to virtual services.

Nats of virtual services reverend richard yale: there was a deep joy there was loving to be connected in a significant way.

Reverend richard yale says things were going well - the sudden shift back to the purple tier caught them off guard but they were ready to make the transition.

Even though they can host services outside - they are choosing not to.

Richard yale: in light of the cold weather that we entering, rather than entering back into that level of uncertainty, that it was best to do this for the time being.

Wallmark says just because they can't gather inside a church doesn't mean they still can't come together - in spirit.

Sherry wallmark:church is more than this building its more than the person to person contact, it doesnt stop us from still praying and hoping.

We wish we could be back but we know for the good of our community, our perishioners and our community we need to just meet virtually.

Kristian: reverend yale says if they get the green light to be able to continue with indoor services they are prepared to make that switch quickly.
