Academics staff say the virtual academy has been well received and that the online option will again be offered for the second semester after the start of the school year.
Parents now have the option of either enrolling their students for the academy for next semester, or pulling them out and going back to in school learning.
The numbers so far show a net of about 80 more online students expected.
