With the holiday shopping season fast approaching, one acadiana is encouraging the community to shop locally and support the small businesses that keep the regional economy thriving, which is more important than ever during this tumultuous year.

To help give small businesses a boost, 1a launched the new "shop acadiana" campaign that aims to support small businesses throughout the holiday season.

"we want the small business community to know we are squarely in their corner," said one acadiana president and ceo troy wayman.

"it is important to remember our friends, neighbors, and their families are running these businesses.

They are the backbone of our community.

Tha's why w're doing everything we can to support them during the holiday season, including using our voice to amplify their efforts.
