First Covid-19 Vaccines in Hamilton County

Explains who gets their first Covid-19 vaccines beginning tomorrow.

Call today a "historic" one as they say they've received their first shipment of covid-19 vaccines.

The health department held a press conference about it.

On tuesday, their first 1500 doses of moderna vaccines arrived.

They will start giving the shots to folks in the state identified as "one-a-one" group, including first responders, on wednesday.

"we are anxious to have vaccine readily available for everyone, but right now i want stress that these doses are for high priority groups that i have mentioned.

They are deemed high priority, because they have the highest risk of exposure and/or adverse outcomes."

This will not cover every one in the group.

The health department will get an additional 1800 doses on wednesday.
