But kimt news 3's jeremy wall is learning one local barbership is actually experiencing tough times during the pandemic.
Normally "the barbershop: a hair salon for men" would be busy during the holiday season ?
"* especially during the weeks of christmas and new year's.
But this year, its dealing with a new normal.
Manager kayla giles says not as many people are coming in to get a new 'do.
" i've been with this company for almost nine years and this is proabably the slowest i've ever seen any holidays.
Um, even just through the last three months we've been ridicoulously slow.
" giles thinks that because people's options are limited when it comes to going out here in minnesota, they're not spending the money to look their best.
The pandemic has also changed the way people are doing many things including upkeep of their personal appearence.
"people are doing in home haircuts now just because ir's what we started with with the pandemic and when we shut down for two and a half months.
It's been hard jsut because we try to keep everybody happy busy, making money, and being able to afford bills, you know everything like that, but it's hard just when we don't have any clients."
