The fbi.

We are hearing from a morgan county man on his way back from d-c who witnessed first hand what happened at the capitol yesterday.

Waay 31's ashley carter spoke to him today..

He told her things felt differenton the ground compared to what we saw in the videos and pictures.

That's exactly right he told me he and the group he came with where there for the stop the steal rally which he says was peaceful.

But he says the bad actions of a few who may have came with bad intentions is what caused the chaos most of us witnessed yesterday.

<pkg tom fredrick, morgan county man in dc "i felt completely safe in a town i might not normally feel safe in being surrounded by patriotic americans."

Tom fredrick is the treasurer for the morgan county republicans.

He along with some others in the organization decided to travel to d-c for the stop the steal rally.
