Day brooke -- thanks alan -- i've been standing out here for the past hour or so and i've seen a steady line of people walking through the door many of the voters i talked with before going live told me they're excited about a lot of the changes they're seeing in this general election... the buchanan county clerk predicted a 30 percent voter turnout, but as of 3 o'clock just over 14 percent of voters had cast their ballot st.

Joseph residents are voting for a new mayor -- between local pastor beau walker and former office holder bill mcmurray they're also voting for 3 new school board members, and 6 city council members one candidate who made a city council at large seat in the primary elections in november, brian myers, says he is ready to start getting to work at city hall (sot "i'm looking forward to some new changes, new faces on our city council.

No matter how things shake out we're going to get a new mayor too.

Voters spoke back in february, they want change and uh i think they're going to speak loudly and clearly today and we are going to continue that wave of change that our city needs."

) myers has already been making waves as an upcoming city council member -- visiting jefferson city a few weeks ago he says while everyone including himself has a mayoral candidate they're rooting for, he believes both walker and mcmurray will make a strong leader the polls are open until 7 tonight, so if you havent been out to vote already you only have another 45 minutes or so reporting live in st.
