The footage filmed on March 26 shows a body bag carefully being lowered to the ground by locals standing on top of the train.

At least 32 killed and more than 100 were injured after the emergency brakes were activated on a train causing another train behind to crash into it.

Egypt's President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi tweeted: "I closely followed the tragic accident that we saw today, when two trains collided in Sohag Governorate.

The pain in our hearts today will only increase our determination to put an end to this type of disaster."
