Tonight -- the bluegrass is working to chip away at student debt.
Starting this fall -- kentuckians will have access to more financial aid -- through the state's education assitance authority.
The college access program - better known as cap -- will now offer up to 29-hundred dollars at 4- year universities -- and 22-hundred at community and technical colleges.
"these boosted cap funds coupled with federal pell grants that are also increased, which are also increased to $6,495, will mean many students can get all of their college expense paid.
There is going to be more money available to our students in kentucky than ever before."
