A drunk driver caused a pile-up after crashing through the central reservation on a highway in southern China The dramatic video, filmed in the city of Haikou in Hainan Province on May 25, shows a white SUV smashing through the central reservation and crashing into a black car on the opposite lane before tipping over.

Two motorists suffered injuries and sent to hospital for treatement.

But none of them were in life-threatening condition.

Five vehicles were damaged.

According to reports, the white car driver named Wang was confirmed to be driving under the influence.

The case is under further investigation.
