Flash floods submerge streets in northern Vietnamese city
Heavy rain caused widespread flooding in Lao Cai, Vietnam.
According to local residents, the floodwater entered their houses when they were sleeping and the water level rose, making it impossible for them to move their belongings out of their houses.
The entire city was submerged by floodwater due to the heavy rain.
Thousands of homes were flooded and destroyed.
