In 1957, the NBA began to grow rapidly, with the Detroit Pistons moving to Detroit, where the team was renamed the Detroit Pistons and the Sacramento Kings was renamed the Cincinnati Royals.

The 1958-59 season in 1959, the year the Lakers Elgin Baylor in the NBA, the first “Wing” players.

The 1959-60 season the Los Angeles Lakers moved to Los Angeles in 1960 and changed its name to Los Angeles Lakers.

In the same year, the Wilt Chamberlain joined the Golden State Warriors.
