FSB: Small businesses ‘between a rock and a hard place’

The head of communications at the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) says that small businesses are “between a rock and a hard place at the minute” in the face of rising energy bills.

Alan Soady said one microbrewery in Essex has seen its energy bill go from £3,000 to £14,000.

Unlike household consumers, businesses are not protected from soaring energy costs by a price cap.
