The Northern Ireland secretary, Chris Heaton-Harris, announces he will call a Stormont Assembly election but has not set the date.
Speaking in Belfast, he says: “I do not have to call an election immediately.
I’ve listened to the party leaders and I’m going to talk to them all again next week, but I will be calling an election.” Report by Patelr.
