Hundreds of protesters took to the streets in the city of Nasiriyah in southern Iraq after a court sentenced Hayder Hamid al-Zaidi, 20, to three years in prison over a Twitter post.
At least two protesters were reportedly killed when security forces opened fire on the crowd.
