According to the poll, a head-to-head primary matchup shows DeSantis leading Trump 56% to 33%.

Among Republicans, Trump's favorability rating fell from 75% in October to 64% in December.

The poll also found that if Trump were to go head to head with President Biden, he'd lag by 7%.

DeSantis, on the other hand, tops Biden by 4% in the hypothetical matchup.
