The Last of Us Part II is an action-adventure video game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
It is the second game in the franchise and was released on June 19, 2020 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
Set five years after the events of The Last of Us, the player takes on the role of two protagonists in a post-apocalyptic United States: Ellie, who seeks revenge after a traumatic event, and Abby, a soldier who becomes embroiled in a conflict between a militia and a cult.
The game contains survival horror elements and is played from a third-person perspective.
Players can use firearms, bows, improvised weapons, dodging, and stealth to defend against hostile humans and creatures infected by a mutated Cordyceps fungus.
