In a statement issued Tuesday, President Joe Biden announced a $115 million funding allotment to Jackson, Mississippi to repair the city’s water infrastructure.
The investment comes one year after a torrential flood aggravated Jackson’s long-troubled water system, leaving thousands of residents without water for days.
